This is an amazing family that could use some help financially. They have never asked for a penny and do not expect people to give to them. They are always thinking of ways to help others and always offering their support to others. I feel now is the time we could all show them our love and support by raising funds so they do not have to stress about finances right now. They should be able to relax and enjoy each day without some of the daily stresses and burdens. I am just hoping that everyone can find it in their hearts to donate what they can and say a prayer for this amazingly strong family!
Here is a little information about the Goodales for those of you who don't know them. Michelle is the mother of 3 boys and the wife of Dale. Zachary (20) and works full time, Dylan(18) goes to COD full-time, and Justyn (13) is in 8th grade. Justyn is a 11 year survivor of Hepatoblastoma (liver cancer) . Dale , her husband, was diagnosed in 2015 with a rare genetic condition called FAP which resulted in Colon Cancer. Dale's treatment consisted of radiation and chemo and has left him with permanent illeostomy and severe neuopathy, which has made him have to be on permanent disability and no longer able to work. Dale is curently in remission and still has to go for routine followup appointments. All 3 boys had to be tested and Justyn is the only son that tested positive for FAP gene. Justyn has to go for tests and see different doctors to stay on top of this genetic condition although surgery for a colectomy is inevitable within the next 6-9 months. Then in May 2017, Michelle went to the doctor for a visit because she had trouble breathing. She was thinking this was just a routine check up and she would get some meds and be good to go. Michelle was admitted to the hospital to undergo testing because they found a spot in her lungs. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer that had metastasized into other parts of her body and her brain. Michelle is currently at home with her family fighting this battle under Hospice Care.
