Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read our story. My name is Alaeddine GABSI a tunisian engineer living in france and I am a human rights defender. We are launching this fundraiser for our brother Yahia ALHAMARNA, a 22-year-old exceptional political science student at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. Ranked first in his class, he embodies determination and hope in peace despite the most challenging circumstances.

Background:

Gaza is currently experiencing a tragic situation, exacerbated by a devastating war that has spared neither homes nor educational institutions. Al-Azhar University, a beacon of knowledge and hope for many youths, has been completely destroyed. Nevertheless, my brother has never lost sight of his goal: to continue his education and realize his dreams.

The Challenges:

The war has left my brother and our families in a dire situation: without medication, access to clean water, sufficient food, and cut off from the world without the internet. Amid these inhumane conditions, his most pressing concern remains his studies, a testament to his resilience and commitment to his future.

Our Goal:

We are creating this fundraiser to help my brother overcome these insurmountable obstacles and continue his educational journey. Education is a fundamental right, and it is the key to building a better future not only for him but also for contributing to the reconstruction and peace in the world.
