Nadine Alexis Medina was born 11/01/2013 she had turners syndrome doctors said there was a chance Nadine would pass before she was born or after. She proved them wrong she fought hard. She was in and out of the hospital in 2015 we found out she had liver cancer and that she would need surgery to remove part of her liver and start chemo treatments she was cancer free but still needed chemo she was supposed to get 4 rounds of chemo but she started getting really sick so they had to stop January 20,2016 we sat with doctors they broke the news that Nadine wasn’t doing very good and she might not make it but they weren’t gonna give up on her this is not the first time we’ve heard the news of she might not make it but she always proved them wrong and made it she never gave up and kept fighting February 10,2018 Nadine was heading to New York for 5nights and 6days for her make a wish to see the lion king live because she loves the lion king February 15,2018 Nadine was ready to come home but when they where at the airport getting ready to board the plane Nadine was showing signs of needing extra support to breath so she was taken to the emergency room and was put on high flow to support her during her admission we found out she had a virus and they couldn’t give her any antibiotics for it that she had to get rid of it on her own doctors she looked better than before but she started getting fevers on February 22 she looked fine she was playing then she got tired and went to sleep that’s when the machines started beeping she didn’t want to wake up they called a code blue all the nurses and doctors ran into her room to work on her 45 min passed when they where gonna call it when my cousin said no please don’t give up on her I don’t wanna loose my daughter let me talk to her she ran in the room and told her to keep fighting that she was there with her and that she loved her very much to please keep trying they felt a heart beat they said she was in critical condition and it would take two days to see if she didn’t get no brain damage but within those 5 min she crashed again doctors tried but they said at this point being the second time they weren’t gonna be able to bring her back she passed away around 3:35pm The family would greatly appreciate any help one could give. Nothing is too little. Thank you!
