Taylor was a beloved son, husband, new father, sibling, friend, and Minnesota State Trooper who touched the lives of everyone he met with kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Taylor brought joy, laughter, and love into the lives of those around him and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him but most especially by his wife Kelcie and 4-month- old baby boy, Leo Michael.

So many of us have been shaken by the sudden loss of Taylor and words can’t describe how much his presence will be missed. His energy and positivity was contagious and he reached out to so many people on many different levels. Taylor brought the sense of safety to his partners, love and security to his family and friends, passion to his job, and joy to everyone in between.

If you had the opportunity to know Taylor, you had a story to tell. From his fearlessness and love of driving fast, Taylor always brought energy and excitement with him in some form. It was rare to see Taylor express anything beyond happiness and you experienced the selflessness of Taylor and his willingness to go out of his way to help anyone in need, his bold laugh, and the ability to look past any worry and enjoy the moment you were in.
