Support the five boys towards their recovery!

Hello all, my name is Kristy and I am asking for your help during this time of tragedy.

Many of you know, but for those who don’t, on May 3, my (almost brother-in-law) with four additional friends were involved in a tragic car accident, which has led to an unforeseen long road to recovery for all five of them involved. Each of these boys have been friends since they were small children and now they are experiencing this nightmare together. Each of them are in an unstable condition, one being a very critical state. Multiple surgeries have been performed with many still to come. Each of those involved will require an extended period of time without the ability to work, drive, and to overcome the significant loss of normalcy. The one who continues to be in a very critical state, is requiring a hospital transfer via helicopter, which unfortunately is not paid by insurance, but instead will require out of pocket funds.

Any money donated will be used for medical bills and the helicopter transportation that is needed. We are asking any amount that you are able to contribute, it would mean the world to all of our involved families. If you’re not able to contribute, please share this post and continue positive thoughts and prayers for these boys.

Since we finally have some positive updates I wanted to share - almost all of our boys have made it back home after multiple surgeries, one is still hospitalized, but the rest of them are currently undergoing physical therapy to help with all of their injuries and will continue to do so the next 3-6 months at the minimum.

We all appreciate each and every bit of support from everyone this last week, it has definitely been a rollercoaster for everyone. The boys will need your continued support as they undergo these next few weeks and months towards their healing process both physically and mentally. Two of which have to heal for their own upcoming wedding’s. Thank you to all.
