Support the Belmonts

Saturday March 3rd just after midnight we learnt that our son's best friend Elijah was in a horrible car accident. Elijah was driving by himself and was just down the street from his house when he rolled his car 8 times then hit a tree. Thank fully Elijah was wearing his seatbelt.  Elijah was first brought to Providence Medical in Everett, after having a CT scan and it showing he had a fractured neck he was transported to Harborview Medical in Seattle. Once he was brought to Harborview and more imaging done, he under went emergency spine surgery where he had to have his C6 and C7 fused. Elijah also suffers from a broken cheek bone and eye socket. The Cranial specialist came to get a better look at the damage, they will be re-assessing the damage and will decide if he will need surgery on that as well. Elijah is currently in ICU he has a very long road ahead of him and a lot more treatments as well. Elijah's mom Kat is a single mom of 2 who works fulltime and a Medical assistant and is also going to school to finish her bachelors degree. Kat is one very strong , loving woman who is very proud. She will be taking time off of work to be home to take care of Elijah and will be facing many obstacles during Elijah's recovery. I have created this account to help ease some of the major financial hardships she is going to be facing over the next few months. I would like to try and raise enough money to help her with rent, everyday bills, medical appointments (Physical therapy) and of course medical bills . We are asking everyone to please keep praying for the Belmont family. Anything you can help with will be greatly appreciated.
