Support Surgery for Petro Samoilenko in Ukraine

Petro Samoilenko lives in the Cherkasy region, Ukraine, in the village of Chernobay. Petro is 66 years old. Petro Samoilenko suffers from stage 4 rectal cancer.

This cancer was discovered in him in August 2022.

On 2 September 2023, he underwent the first operation and part of the intestine was removed to the abdomen (Stoma).

On September 15 , Petro underwent a second operation, this time on a lung. He had a metastasis excised from his left lung, with more than 50% of the lung removed. After this operation, he began to undergo chemotherapy.

On May 31, 2023, he underwent a third operation and a tumor was removed from the rectum. After this, he was assigned the 1st disability group.

At the moment, Peter has undergone 12 chemotherapy treatments. Due to the progression of the disease, he requires a fourth operation.

In the fourth operation, it is planned to completely remove the rectum and transfer part of the intestine brought out (stoma) to the other side of the abdomen.

For all previous surgical interventions, medical tests, Petro paid money himself. Only chemotherapy was paid for, by the state as part of the cancer care program.

He spent all his savings on treatment. Petro is disabled and retired. His pension is 2,700 Hryvna per month, which is equivalent to 70 Euros.

We and Petro turn to you with a request to help him raise money for the operation and subsequent treatment. Peter asks you to help prolong his life.

The total amount of the surgery and treatment after that is 1200 EUR, which will be directly provided to him and his family.
