Support Seth Cowan through Brain Surgery

Allow me to introduce you to Seth Cowan. Seth is the husband of my good friend and colleague, Lancey Cowan, and father of an incredible young lady, Maggie Cowan. Seth fell in his kitchen while making breakfast nearly 4 years ago. Since that time, he has experienced health problems, including passing out, fogginess, anxiety and overall ill feelings. He and Lancey were diligent about seeking medical attention. Unfortunately, doctors missed the small tumor on his brain that was there when he fell. Seth has gotten worse, much worse since then. Recently he sought a second opinion; the new doctor spotted the tumor from 4 years ago, ordered a new MRI and referred Seth to a neurosurgeon. Long story short, the missed tumor has been growing in his brain for nearly four years and is now not small at all. This family did everything right and yet they face hard consequences of a missed diagnosis that include his missed income for almost four years, increasing medical bills, and more of the same with brain surgery scheduled for December 20 with a three-to-four-day stay at Johns Hopkins. That’s why I am creating this GoFundMe Account – Support Seth Cowan and his young family through his brain surgery. The funds will go toward medical expenses and helping this family reach recovery. Seth’s future is yet to be defined but for now, it is my goal to ease the stress of life so that Seth and his family can face whatever is yet to come. Donations go directly to the family and not to me or any other third party outside of GoFundMe.

The Cowan family has a strong history of volunteering their time to support youth programs and other causes. Seth has fought hard to continue coaching Maggie’s softball team throughout these challenges. Please consider giving back. Even a small donation will help this family.
