For those who have known and have been impacted by Filma Jackson, her husband and their children Rachel and Michelle, and to those who haven't had the pleasure yet, Sensational Kids Program needs our help.
The program, founded by the Jackson Family has been helping the kids of Newburgh, New Windsor and Cornwall for many years. As a vital resource of unconditional love and support, the entire Jackson family provides resources and experiences that teach children invaluable lessons that are not only educationally based, but life based. Unfortunately due to monetary circumstances at the former location, Sensational Kids Program has had to close its doors.
The Sensational Kids Program provides:
-Before and after school care with a family oriented setting
-support for working families by being available early hours for commuters (6am until children are picked up from school) - and extended after hours for pick up
-open on school holidays - often with trips for the kids to the movies, bowling, or outside for fishing at the local park etc
-special care provided for special needs children, as well as children who are learning English as a second language
You can always expect the Jackson family to go above and beyond for the children.
Just a few of the experiences provided by Sensational:
Group trips - to water parks, nature preserves, outdoor activities
learning how to ride a bike - the program has bikes and helmets the children can use
Library - Sensational has books the children can use and borrow
Crafting projects
Homework help and tutoring
sports - basketball, soccer - old school games like box ball etc
Sensational hosts a formal dinner night where the kids learn how to set a table, learn table manners, and etiquette
Summer camps are filled with trips to state parks, splashdown, movies, bowling, group activities and games.

Personally, I have never met a group of people more selfless or willing to give everything for the sake of the children. They won’t ask for help, and so I’m asking for your support. The money raised would help Sensational Kids Program open their doors at a new location. Security at the new location and initial expenses are necessary to get the program going again. Please help to support this irreplaceable program!
