Update 8/8/25: Rylie began Chemo at Cook Childrens on Monday. She will be there staying for the week and released on Tuesday of next week. She recently had a port installed and is tolerating that and the chemo medications well. The doctors have told us the first 28 days will be the most aggressive treatment, but after this week she can go home and come back to get Chemo a few times a week. The first 28 days are crucial to see how aggressive the cancer is and if we will need a more specialized treatment plan. Please continue to pray! We appreciate everyone's love and support.
On Monday, Aug 4th, Raymond and Morgan Proietti got the worst news any parents could hear. Their sweet, kind-hearted, playful 4-year-old little girl, Rylie, was diagnosed with B-ALL Leukemia. During what seemed to be a routine checkup for a cold that just wouldn't go away, her doctors ran blood tests and came back with the news that Rylie had markers for leukemia. They sent her to Cook Children's in Fort Worth where it was confirmed. She has begun the initial week of therapy before being transferred to either St. Jude or MD Anderson. Rylie and family have a years-long battle ahead as she fights this illness and recovers. It is our hope that we can ease the burden on their family by raising money to cover at least some of their out-of-pocket expenses.
