Support Roxanna Nobriga's Funeral & Celebration of Life Cost
We are raising funds for Roxanna Nobriga's, funeral and celebration of life. I am Roxanna's husband, Almar Nobriga, I would like to say a little about my wife Roxanna, I met her in early 2011 and we were married 6 months later on August 26th 2011, then in 2017 we got our own place Roxanna and myself were so happy having been struggling for almost 6 years we finally had a place we could call home. Then in 2018 Roxanna was diagnosed with stage 4 Colo-Rectnal Cancer we were devastated with the news. Roxanna first had to have a Colostomy surgery and then she started Radiation and Chemotherapy treatments, after a year or so when Roxanna was ready for the Proctocolectomy surgery they found cancer on her lungs, so before they could do the surgery they had to remove the cancer on her lungs. Roxanna and myself was wondering what else could happen, however Roxanna was strong and determined to fight through it all. Then came the Proctocolectomy surgery, for those people that don't know whats involved in a Proctocolectomy surgery, it when one surgeon with robotic goes from your stomach down cutting the large intestine away, while the other surgeon goes in through your anus and starts cutting away the other end of the large intestine until they reach each other and the whole large intestine is removed, Roxanna made it through it all and was cancer free for about 2 1/2 years. We were so happy that everything went good, Roxanna was doing thing like shopping again (lol) doing her haddies(painting, making river tables and more. Then about a year ago the cancer came back in her small intestine and eat through her vagina wall and she develop a vaginal fistula if you don't know what that is it's when your poop starts coming out your vagina, believe me it hurts all the time Roxanna was in pain ( bad pain ) she still found time to help people around her as the cancer ate away at her body, Then on Friday July 19th 2024 we lost her to cancer.
With all she went through and all she gave to people around her, I know you can find it in your hearts to donate to send her off to God and our savior with a celebration of life gathering of family and friends, to tell stories of how she touched their lives
We all will miss you my love, my life and my wife Roxanna Nobriga may you rest in the arms of Jesus our savoir
