Support Alice Local Rohini as she fights Leukaemia

I am raising this money to help our friend and work colleague Rohini Savant.  Both her and her husband Milind are beautiful people inside and out. They have worked so hard to make a life together in Alice Springs NT. Rohini moved from India only a couple of years ago, to this place in the middle of no-where, a different culture, a different way of life.  All she wanted was to build a new life with her new loving husband Milind.   They had so many heart warming plans. So many wonderful things to look forward to, all too heartbreaking to go into now.  After finally being able to buy their first home, they moved in. Rohini had been feeling somewhat off.  She went for what she thought was a simple check up and only a month after moving into their new home they received the shocking news that Rohini had Leukaemia.  Unable to have treatment in Alice, within a couple of days, they had to fly 1500km to see a specialist in Darwin. Then a few days later, it was off to Adelaide, travelling another 3000km to start  treatment.  There they will stay for at least 6 months while Rohini has the first stage of chemo. They are away from family and friends, both had to leave work. They have to  now somehow get by financially without loosing the house they so lovingly worked hard for.  Rohini has long fight ahead of her.  We want to give her hope. We want Ruhi and Milind to know how special they are to all of us.  We hope to raise some money to help with the financial burden of what they are going through, and to help with the challenges that lay ahead. Maybe help family visit them, to offer them support. Please help Ruhi. She has a kind heart and deserves all the support we can give her.   Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
