Support Rhizophora's Fight Against Homelessness

My name is Kamra Hakim and I am raising funds to support my dear friend in avoiding living on the streets. They are currently at risk of being forced to live in a shelter so I am collecting $6,000 to go towards 6 months of rent for a Brooklyn, NY sublet.

We are also in the process of gathering resources for housing lotteries, section 8, and finding homes for Rhizophora to stay in while we raise these funds. Need someone to house sit for you this summer? Have a spare bedroom? We also welcome sublet leads for a July 1 move-in date.

We'd like to wrap this up in 2 weeks, which means we need to bring in $430 per day for the next 14 days. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS! Send change if you must. If you are unable to send money, PLEASE SHARE! We need to stop being so passive, and start taking action to support the folks in our proximity.
