Support renovating our student mission house

Hello, we are the International Movement of Catholic Students (IMCS/MIEC) Pax Romana, an organisation of Catholic Tertiary students which started in 1921 with the purpose of contributing to world peace and justice through social transformation by means of faith-inspired actions. To coordinate these efforts, IMCS national member movements elect a team of international leaders serving in regional and international secretariats. IMCS Pax Romana International Secretariat is currently based in Paris.

And the IMCS International officers (President and Secretary General) are currently hosted in the apartments in Paris owned by the IMCS Movement.

Since the assumption of duty by the current President and Secretary General, we have realized the urgent need to revamp our Mission house which accommodates us. A place we call home and spend most of our time brainstorming and planning the next best ideas to transform the lives of young people across the world.

However, as student leaders, our source of income is dependent on the generous contributions of donors and people of goodwill. These funds go to support all our organizational expenses and living allowances which include utility bills and maintaining the mission house.

In this critical time, we are reaching out for your support to renovate our Pax Romana mission house (Cachan Apartment). This apartment has been used for several years without repairs or any recent maintenance, it has created an unhealthy environment as a place of abode. For instance, part of the walls and windows are in a deplorable state, we are facing issues with humidity etc.

And we are in need of financial support to make urgent changes and upgrades before the beginning of the winter season in France to ensure that residents will not face difficulties. Based on the assessment of our needs, it will cost us a total of €20,000 to complete this renovation.

When the apartment is renovated and partially used to welcome students, alums, and Pax Romana student advocates who come to intervene at institutions like UNESCO.

With your donation, we will be able to complete this project and continue to work and live in a safe and sound environment.
