During this challenging time, we extend our sincere wishes for your health and well being. We hope all of you are doing well given the circumstances. Historical times like this one require all of us to come together, in the spirit of humanity, for our common health and good. Wherever you may be around the globe, you are part of the Rancho Los Banos family.
Like many small businesses at this difficult time, Rancho Los Banos is trying to cover for deep loses and high expenses, trying to help our staff, feed our animals, and plan for the future during this COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we experienced a well-below average number of spring bookings, and since our last group of guests left the ranch on March 17th before our forced closure, we have experienced a total loss of income during one of our busiest seasons.
As a business in Mexico, we are not afforded the same benefits, bailouts, social safety net or assistance from our government as other nations. We are, quite literally, on our own.
Therefore, if you are financially able, we ask you to please consider a donation to our small, family-owned business deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. All donations will be applied toward a future booking at a time convenient to you. Even a donation of a single dollar will help the Rancho survive this challenging time.
Your financial support can help us in a number of ways.
1. Support our Staff. While we are doing our best to assist everyone during this difficult time, your donation can go a long way to helping our amazing staff pay their bills and support their families. Given that Mexico is not assisting its citizens through government intervention, our Team must fend for themselves.
2. Support our Animals. While each and every donation will be credited toward a future visit, your donation today will be used to pay for food and care of our 30+ horses, 20 cats and 5 dogs. Please help us in supporting these sweet additions to any ranch vacation.
3. Support our Business. During this difficult time, please consider booking your future vacations today. When this crisis is over, there will be no better place to celebrate life and the outdoors than at the Rancho. Early bookings can help us in both the short-term and the long-term.
Your booking, secured with a donation, can be easily donated or transferred to a friend, loved one or anyone else. We are accepting "open-ended" bookings which means that if you book now and schedule your exact dates within 2 years time all that is needed is a deposit or donation to hold your spot.
