Queen City Volleyball Academy (QCVA) was launched in September 2019 to help make youth volleyball more accessible to Charlotte metro area teenage girls. Our mission is rooted in the pursuit to make the sport more inclusive by offering a different type of club experience. Learn more about our organization here.
After raising more than $5,500 in our first campaign, we've set a new goal to reach $8,000 before the end of 2020. We know our society is facing difficult times in the pandemic, but will you help us reach our goal?
QCVA exists to provide a lower-cost option to families without sacrificing the quality of their experience. Our organization aims to help our athletes grow their volleyball talents and develop into active contributors in their communities. In our inaugural season, we were working to deliver excellent training, strong competition, holistic development and a close-knit community for our three teams before the COVID-19 pandemic struck and shut down the season. We were fortunate to persevere, offering refunds to all of our participating families for the shortened season.
A new season has begun, and we have five teams (more than 50 athletes) who are now part of the QCVA community. We're kindly asking you to contribute toward our capacity building efforts as we continue to grow our organization in our second year. Your donation will help cover the costs of: athletes' tuition (e.g. player sponsorship), coaches' stipends/travel, and other operational pursuits to enable us to deepen and expand our impact with these talented young women.
