Support Pramod P. to recover from Brain Injury

I am Nikhil D raising funds for my friend Pramod P(age 48) and his family. Pramod is an amazing person, always ready to help people around him, a people person and one of the best to be around. An avid runner and hiker, Pramod ran numerous full & half marathons and inspired others.​

On May 8, the unfortunate Sunday, 2022, Pramod went for a run and suddenly fell unconscious. He was taken to the emergency where he was diagnosed with sub arachnoid hemorrhage. Pramod lost his pulse when he fell and shortage of oxygen to brain caused Hypoxic brain damage. Currently he is in Neurocritical care facility and doctors’ diagnosis says it's going to take months for recovery. Next step is to shift Pramod to acute care/Skilled nursing facility. It is hard to see young and healthy soul bedridden and fighting for his life. ​

Pramod, Nileema (age 42) and Saee (age 17) are loving & caring family. Their family was always ready to lend a helping hand to the friends and local community. Saee, a bright student got admission to prestigious New York University but with many uncertainties looming around, her next academic journey is in jeopardy. It is heartbreaking to see the kind of agony family is facing right now. ​

Pramod’s extremely critical condition may need him to be in ICU or acute care facility for longer time. He needs financial assistance for medical expenses and to support his family. I humbly request you to support him during this time with any financial assistance to help cover some of the medical expenses, I along with his friends & family would greatly appreciate it.​
