Support Pradeep Verma's autistic son - Daksh Verma

Donation protected
Dear family and friends,

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we share this news of sudden and very unexpected demise of our dear friend, Pradeep Kumar Verma (age 45), due to COVID-19 complications. He travelled from USA to India to support his aging parents during critical period of pandemic.

Pradeep leaves behind his elderly parents, a loving wife and a charming 9 yrs. old autistic son (Daksh). As you can imagine, his family is devastated by this loss of a sincere son, loving & caring husband and a responsible father.

Pradeep was a firm believer of doing good deeds and karmas. He worked in Information Technology and professionally was very sincere and dedicated person, always looking forward to put in best effort for organization’s growth. On personal front he was fond of reading books and playing all kind of sport, especially tennis.

He had no pre-existing medical condition and followed a very healthy lifestyle.
Family was of utmost importance to him, especially Daksh. He was always worried about Daksh’s future and worked really hard so that he could provide him the best education and medical care.

His son, Daksh is a beautiful, sweet, happy boy with a gentle soul who is unable to comprehend the loss and is still expecting his father to return from hospital to play with him. Daksh was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3 yrs. He meets Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders – Fifth Edition (DSM-5) criteria of an Autism Spectrum Disorder (F84.0) that is accompanied with language impairment and requires substantial support in social communication and support in restricted, repetitive behaviors. He loves painting, listening to nursery rhymes, dancing, being tickled and spend tons of time with his father.

His smile is like pure sunshine and lights up the room. However, he is not like other children and needs special care and attention. He has to attend special schools and multiple therapies that are expensive. Even with that, his future will always have uncertainty and lack stability.

Pradeep’s wife now faces the task of being the sole caregiver for their boy (Daksh) after many years of being a stay-at-home mother. She is in need of any and all support we can give during this time of grief, to carve out a new way of life without her husband - Pradeep. This loss creates a huge financial burden since Pradeep was the sole provider for his family. We hope to help ease their financial worries with this fundraising. The loss for family cannot be replaced, but we are hoping to do our bit to make things easy in whichever way possible. The funds will help out tremendously to help secure Daksh’s future, including his medical and education expenses, while they try to get back to life without Pradeep.

Please keep this family in your prayers, and we thank you for any help you may give.  Even if you are not in a position to help out, please share this GoFundMe page with your friends and family
