At 26 weeks pregnant, Candace was hospitalized and diagnosed with HELLP syndrome. Due to this serious pregnancy complication, Candace and Lindo's baby girl arrived via C-Section on October 24 (three months before her January 23 due date).
Emilia ("Emma") Mae Pedraza entered the world at just 27 weeks, weighing 1 lb. 11 oz. She is expected to spend several months in the NICU receiving care.
