We're reaching out to you today to share the incredible story of P3YMON, a 20-year-old refugee artist from Herat, Afghanistan, and a previous volunteer of OCC Greece in Polkastro. Despite facing numerous challenges and upheavals in his young life, P3YMON has found solace, passion, and purpose in his art.

From a young age, P3YMON discovered his love for drawing, encouraged by his mother who recognized his talent and nurtured his creativity. Despite the lack of formal training or access to art academies, he has honed his skills through sheer determination and resourcefulness. He has experimented with various mediums, from oil painting to graffiti-style drawing, but found his true calling in the intricate and expressive art of doodling.

P3YMON's journey as an artist has been marked by resilience and unwavering dedication. Despite the turmoil of displacement and the challenges of life in a refugee camp, he has persevered in pursuing his passion for art. However, limited access to art supplies, colored pencils, and paint has posed a significant barrier to his creative expression.
