Support young bowler Sophie with Leukaemia battle

Sophie is one of England’s shining stars of indoor and lawn bowling. She reached five finals last year and won four. 

Sophie is only 21 and on 12th June 2020 was suddenly and unexpectedly diagnosed with Leukaemia! 

She is now in Addenbrooks teen cancer unit, frightened and all alone. No visitors due to covid.  Bless her heart. 

She is likely to need a months chemo in hospital and then six months of aggressive treatment. 

I am fundraising for all her very many friends to contribute together to raise money for a laptop or other items of her choice, so that she can stay in contact with her friends and not be so alone. 

let’s get ‘our soph’ back on the road to a full recovery and stay in touch. 

All funding raised with go only to Sophie and once her laptop is provided, any additional funding will go on a well earned holiday to recover once well enough. You all are helping her directly by your donations.
