Support our next Greenhouse 2023

We are Moviendo Territorios, a collective of two artist Sharon Mercado Nogales from the Andes- Bolivia and Eli Wewentxu from Wallmapu.

To generate food autonomy, self-sustainability, sharing the knowledge of generations prior to territorial displacement and the care of seeds. We would like to continue building spaces of resistance in Abya Yala - Latin America.

The idea of the project was born in *rimu last Autumn 2020, from the need to create a planting space for my family in the Mapuche community located in the town of Chomio, Wallmapu, a space that could withstand the drought, product of the mega forestry projects in the Araucanía region, the scarcity of rain and the heavy frost, also consequences of this. As a continuation of this project, we replicated this work last January 2022 in the Community of Cusijata-Bolivia together with the collective Awichas, where we built a greenhouse close to the Titicaca Lake.

This financial support will be designated to the construction materials of the next greenhouse, cost of transport, food, expenses of the working days, as well as tools and seeds that will remain with the community.

For us it is very important your collaboration because projects like this are essential and necessary for resistance in the struggle of communities of the global south against capitalism and colonialism.
