Support Okmulgee High's Cheer Team: We Need Uniforms!!

Meet the cheerleaders of Okmulgee High School in Okmulgee, Oklahoma! We jump high, cheer loud, and keep our school spirit strong!

This year, our team gained 16 new cheerleaders, which is a first in our small, rural, multicultural community, nestled on tribal land. These new cheerleaders trained hard to make the team, including making top grades, having teacher recommendations, and showing they are leaders of our school.

Unfortunately, after many years of repairing old, torn, uniforms, the new cheerleaders must purchase new uniforms, in order to participate on the team. Although both parents and kids, have been working hard to fundraise, our poor community can only give so much. Uniforms are $450 per person.

It’s so important, that our young leaders, have the opportunity to realize their school ambitions, and get the opportunity to cheer. We at Okmulgee cheer, want to make sure that no cheerleader is left behind. As our school provides no funding to the cheerleading program, we must raise money to keep hope alive.

Your donations go towards an amazing group of young women, and 2 young men, who are crucial in keeping spirit and hope alive, in a place in America that has not enough.
