Support Nita's Road to Recovery

Hey my name is Morgan “Mo” and I’m writing this on behalf of myself and Anita’s close friends & family.

On the evening of Monday, April 29th, Nita was involved in a motorcycle accident in the city of Syracuse. She was thrown from her bike & her leg was run over by an oncoming car where she sustained a broken femur, severe road rash and bruising. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, and underwent emergency surgery the following morning where she had a metal rod screwed into her hip & knee. She spent nearly an entire week in the hospital (4/29) to (5/5), starting what would be a very long and excruciating recovery process as she learns to walk again.

With this being said, Nita won’t be expected to return to work for at least three months. Not working for this extended period of time will disrupt her ability to keep up with monthly bills like rent, groceries, utilities, car payment, etc. Not to mention any other medical expenses incurred in the process.

She has been so strong, unbelievably brave and resilient in the process. It would be a miracle to see her get back on her feet to take her pup on long walks, wade in cold river water & do a crow pose into a headstand with ease.
