Nicolas Eatery, a family-run French-American restaurant located in Southern California, needs your help during these trying times. With the shutdown of outdoor dining, Nicolas Eatery runs the possibility of shutting down the restaurant for good, among many other small businesses. In order to keep the business running, Nicolas Eatery needs help to raise money to pay for its employees, healthcare for its staff, to pay the rent and to support the business owner’s family.
Nicolas Eatery is a story of "The American Dream". Owner and Chef Nicolas Fanucci, born in Cannes, France, started this restaurant to pursue his dreams. The dream quickly became a nightmare as the restaurant was faced with the Woolsey Fires upon opening day. As Nicolas and his family were displaced from their home and permits were postponed, they had to readjust quickly. They rented a food truck to begin business and served right out of the parking lot. Now after a year of opening, Nicolas Eatery is hit with its second crisis, COVID-19. Against all odds, the restaurant has overcome each obstacle, however with the new shutdown orders on restaurants in LA County, Nicolas Eatery might not survive this one.
