Support my friend - unexpected family tragedy

My dear friend Omama is a refugee in the UK.

Her family already went through great hardship due to the destruction of their home by the war, and in late 2020, her father died with covid-like symptoms.

Some days ago, tragedy hit her family again when robbers broke into her mother's rented flat in her hometown and killed her for resisting.

The criminals also took all of the family's valuables and savings; as you may know, people rely on cash and gold/jewellery in countries hit by war and economic crises.

Now my friend is the only support to her younger sister, who remains in a vulnerable position, as no other close relatives remain currently with her in the war-struck country.

My friends and I are fundraising money to help Omama cover some expenses related to this tragedy, such as trauma counseling, a temporary safer location for her sister, and getting legal advice for bringing her to the UK, where we can all support her better.

I can provide my friend's full name and contact details upon request. She's got a copy of the police report dated 9th of July, but it is in Arabic and I prefer to keep her other personal details private.
