Support my best friend, Angelica

This is not an ask-to-give, this is a reminder that all of us can be, at one point of our life, in a difficult situation and the proof that we still have humanity in us is compassion and help, as well as love for the others.

She’s in her forties, beautiful inside-out, with a wonderful smile and a huge heart. She’s married with her high-school sweetheart, soon to be 25 years of marriage. Hard-working and never complaining, always having nice words for people and she helped people without ever asking for something in return.

Most of you know her and associate her name with extraordinary-tasty sweets and cakes that either brings your childhood back or make you cheat your diet for the most worthy reason in the world.

Now she’s struggling with the most hideous and yet to became the most common disease in the world (they said that in 2030 one in four people will have it): CANCER, with all that this condition implies: chemotherapy, radiotherapy, pills, fatigue, loss of appetite, isolation and no strength to do or, at one point, to be.  She cannot work, cannot go in public places, she’s fragile and tired. She lost her smile.

But…

We are here for her. We cannot let something tragic happen because it is not normal, it is not fair, it is not how life is supposed to be in your forties, not in your fifties, not never. But at this age this is complete madness.

We are here to help you, our sweet Angelica. We love you and we’ll prove that. You are not alone in this battle and we’re not going to let this monster  take you away from us. We need you and we’re going to bring your smile back, together, as a big and loving family.
