Hi Everyone,

My name is Mila King.

I’m ten years old, and gymnastics is my whole world.

I train 25 hours a week at an elite gymnastics program in North Vancouver. Over the past few years, I’ve competed in many competitions and earned medals and recognition.

My coaches believe I have the potential to succeed at a very high level and currently I'm working toward my biggest goal yet — the opportunity to compete and qualify as a Novice athlete at Elite Canada in Calgary. This is my chance to represent British Columbia as one of the youngest gymnasts at my level.

I've also been invited to compete at Gymnix International in Montreal, Quebec, which will be my first international competition, where I'll have the opportunity to represent BC as a High Performance Novice athlete.

These amazing opportunities come with significant costs. At my level, there are no athletic subsidies available, and travel, hotels, registration fees, and training expenses add up quickly (just one competition can cost thousands of dollars), and my mom needs to travel with me.

We’re hoping to raise $10,000 by the end of January to help cover airfare, accommodations, as well as meet fees for both Calgary and Montreal. Any support will go directly toward my travel and competition costs, and if there’s anything left over, it will go toward my monthly gym training costs.

My biggest dream is to compete in the 2032 Summer Olympics in Brisbane Australia, and I know this journey takes years of hard work, dedication, and support.

No matter what happens, it means so much to me that so many of you believe in me and are willing to help me pursue my dreams.
