Support Matt's Recovery & Medical Bills

My name is Amy Crnecki and I have started this GoFundMe account for the benefit of my cousin, Matt Fisher. On behalf of our family, we would like to thank you for the amazing outpouring of care and concern since Matt's accident, earlier this week.

On Monday, May 2, 2022, Matt and four fellow firefighters were en route to a 9-1-1 call, when an intoxicated driver crashed into their firetruck with a commercial field sprayer. Matt sustained serious injuries, and although we are incredibly grateful that his doctors hope he will make a full recovery, it will be an extremely long and difficult road.

We are hopeful that Matt's medical bills will be covered by insurance, but it is unclear how long he will be out of work. That being said, we are humbly asking the community for monetary support if you are able and all the prayers of healing that we can get for Matt.

In addition to this fundraiser, the Wilton Fire Department will also host a boot drive to collect donations to help Fisher pay for his medical bills. Wilton residents will be able to find boot drive locations at several locations throughout the city. Residents can also contribute via Venmo @Wilton-Fire or PayPal at @wiltonfire.

I wanted to thank everyone for their support for Matt Fisher, myself, and our family. ..it has been OVER WHELMING to say the least the outpouring of care and concern. I am just unable to reach out to everyone who has reached out to support us..i is appreciated beyond words...please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as Matt has a very delicate surgery being performed today...i will try and post an update later....we appreciate you all!!
