I’m raising funds for my son, Mason, after he was diagnosed with High Risk ALL B Cell Leukemia. Mason lives in Idaho, and this diagnosis has turned life upside down for him and his family. He was life flighted from Idaho to Seattle, where he will be in the hospital for one month for his initial treatment, and after that he will stay with his aunt and uncle for the next year while he continues treatment. Mason was also preparing for a 2-year LDS mission that would have started in November. Although he is disappointed he will not be able to go in Nov he is still thinking of ways he can still share his faith with others around him.

Mason’s mother lives in Minnesota and had to book a last-minute flight to Seattle so she could be with him. She will stay in the hospital with Mason for that first month and remain with him for at least two additional months while chemotherapy is especially hard on him. After that, she will return as needed during the more difficult parts of his treatment. Being away from home for months at a time while caring for Mason has created an ongoing financial strain on top of everything this family is already carrying.

Donations will help with the continuing costs of travel, food, and medical bills throughout Mason’s treatment. Every contribution will help Mason’s mother stay close to him and focus on caring for him through the months ahead.
