Hi all! I'm Nicole, Cow Mary's mom and unfortunately I'm reaching out to the community for help with Mary's care. This last week, she has gotten really sick and I had to take her to the emergency vet. They were able to get her stable and I was able to get her into see her regular vet a few days later. We have found out that she was suffering from a severe bout of pancreatitis as well as needing dental surgery. Right now, Mary is at home and resting with pain medication. We are trying to encourage her to eat and drink to help her gain some weight and strength back.

I'm reaching out to the community for help with her veterinary care bills because she still has further testing to do to see if the pancreatitis was acute or if it is a symptom of another medical issue that is not known yet. As of right now, the vet doesn't want to do her dental surgery until she is stable enough for the vet to be confident Mary can make it through. I understand things are tough for a lot of people right now and I truly appreciate any help anyone can give to Mary at this time. I know she has brought a lot of joy to a lot of people's lives and I find it wonderful she can show a little sliver of the joy she brings to my family to the world.
