Thank you for being here. We are Mari Sugawa and Humberto Teixeira. We have created this fundraising to ask for your support to build our school and company, "Mari Hubbert Dance."

Mari is a principal ballerina, and Humberto is an award-winning choreographer. After many years of dedication to the art of dance, we believe our next step is to have our own studio to expand our potential further and give back to society by creating beautiful art.

Three years ago, we were looking forward to entering a new stage of our professional life, and the corona pandemic began. This pandemic has been damaging us both mentally and financially. Many of the jobs and engagements have been canceled or reduced, especially our hearts got frustrated not dancing.

But this pandemic has also been a necessary time to understand our core...Our mission is to return to the starting point, continue to dedicate ourselves to the world of ballet and enrich our lives and everyone who supports us through dance and dance education.

でもこのパンデミックは私達自身のコアを理解する大切な時期でもありました…私達の使命は、原点に戻りこれからもバレエの世界に貢献し、舞踊、舞踊教育を通じて私達自身そして応援してくださる皆様の心を豊かにすることです。

Obrigado por estar aqui. Somos Mari Sugawa e Humberto Teixeira. Nós criamos esta angariação de fundos para pedir o seu apoio na construção da nossa escola e empresa, "Mari Hubbert Dance".

Mari é bailarina principal e Humberto um coreógrafo premiado. Após muitos anos de dedicação à arte da dança, acreditamos que nosso próximo passo é ter nosso studio próprio para expandir ainda mais nosso potencial e retribuir à sociedade criando belas artes.

Há três anos, estávamos ansiosos para entrar em uma nova etapa de nossa vida profissional, e a pandemia do corona começou. Essa pandemia tem nos prejudicado mentalmente e financeiramente. Muitos dos trabalhos e compromissos foram cancelados ou reduzidos, especialmente nossos corações ficaram frustrados por não dançar.

Mas esta pandemia também tem sido um momento necessário para compreender o nosso núcleo... A nossa missão é regressar ao ponto de partida, continuar a dedicar-nos ao mundo do ballet e enriquecer as nossas vidas e de todos os que nos apoiam através da dança e da educação em dança.
