Luke Thornsbury's Road to the World Championship!

The family of Luke Thornsbury is excited to announce Luke's championship win to earn a spot on Team USA!

We have begun this fundraising effort to enable Luke to attend the 2024 World Field Championship, representing Team USA on the Under 21 Barebow Team. Luke holds the 1st spot, of 3 plus an alternate. Unfortunately, USA Archery does not contribute or sponsor their athletes in any way. For Luke and two guardians to attend, the costs of the required accommodations (8 nights), airfare, entry fee, and all of the administration fees, will be approximately $10,000.

With Luke's aggressive tournament schedule in the last year, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and entry fees, Luke and his family could really use your help!

Luke has been shooting archery since he was eight years old. Through the years, we have been honored to watch him dedicate himself to this sport. It is through his hard work, discipline, expert coaching at BowDoc in Mokena, being coachable, and goal setting that he arrived to this point at the age of 16.
