Support Local Food Truck Owner and Women's Shelter

Donation protected
With the amount of hardships taking place in the world today, I wanted to create something with the hope of bringing some joy to those who have been significantly impacted.  My plan is two-fold: first raise money for a local food truck owner, Toyin with Puddin', whose business has been hurt during the pandemic and social injustice and secondly, to provide free meals at four different N Street women's shelters in Washington D.C.  Ultimately, I am looking to raise enough money to pay for the meals going to the women, while fully profiting the food truck owner.

It's obvious this pandemic has hurt small businesses and the economy as a whole, but what is not so obvious is the increase in domestic violence and child abuse.  Many are forced to quarantine with their abuser, forcing them out of their own homes and to seek shelter. More than providing free meals, I want to create an uplifting experience for these women in their time of need.

I am hoping to raise this amount by August 1st. Please know, any donation is much appreciated!

***Due to unforeseen complications with Harriet Tubman's Women's Shelter regarding putting their funding at risk, I have spoken to N Street Villages to deliver free meals at four of their locations in D.C. The leftover funds will be happily donated to Harriet Tubman's Women's Shelter.
