Support Local Craft Artists Thru Our Micro-Grants
What’s are we fundraising for?
Tennessee Craft Midstate wants to help working craft artists who are hurting financially due to the pandemic. They have seen many months’ worth of shows and workshops canceled, putting a major drain on their earnings.
That’s why we’re launching this campaign to fund micro-grants for our local craft artists. If we can raise $1000, we can help out ten local craft artists.
How does it work?
Artists will use our $100 micro-grant to create videos that demonstrate their craft process. It’s a win-win-win:
• This program creates support for artists during a time of need, while also giving them an exposure opportunity.
• The video they make in exchange for their stipend serves as a free educational resource that the greater community can benefit from.
• We are helping raise awareness of fine craft in Middle TN.
Because we want to help when our members need it most (now!), our short & sweet fundraiser runs from June 5 to August 15.
If you’re in a position to pitch in, won’t you consider giving today? Even $5 helps us reach our goal, and when you give $100 you fund a full micro-grant.
Another great way to help is to share our campaign on your Facebook page. Let people know you care about our midstate craft artists!
Thank you. Seriously.
We really appreciate any support you can offer to keep craft artists thriving right now. Let’s do this, Middle Tennessee!
