Support Local Business after an Accidental Fire

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Keith King, and I'm fundraising for a local 118th ave business that was recently affected by an accidental fire set in an abandoned shed (likely by people without homes trying to stay warm). The fire quickly spread from the abandoned shed and into the back of Battista's Calzones, impacting both Flava Cafe and of course Battista's shop. There is extensive fire and smoke damage, and only some of it is covered by insurance. We estimate at least $10k will be needed to offset business losses due to closure and the repairs that aren't covered in insurance. It's a lot.

On top of the recent fire, Battista also has experienced the loss of both his parents this year, and since he has been an avid supporter of the 118th ave and broader Edmonton community for years... it's time we gave back a little in this difficult time.

If you can help, please do. Small businesses have been hit hard by the pandemic, and this fire was the icing on the cake of a rough couple of years. If you can, please give generously. If you can't please share broadly. Let's get Battista's Calzones & Flava Cafe back up and running at full capacity as soon as possible.
