Linda and Dennis Anfuso, AKA Baroness Megan ni Laine and Claus of Burzee in the SCA, need our help.
Linda and Dennis had to leave Pennsic early this year. Sales at Dennis’ business normally provide most of their annual income, so this leaves them in a devastating financial situation. They need to get to England and stay for 3 months to receive medical treatments unavailable in the US which Linda needs in her ongoing battle with Muscular Dystrophy (MD). Linda is currently also suffering pneumonia and strep throat, requiring daily doses of IV antibiotics. Dennis runs his own business (sales at the toy shop at Pennsic normally provide most of their income) and is caring for Linda at the same time, while also coping with his own Lyme disease.
As her friends and family we would like to support them by raising some of the lost income they need to reach England and stay long enough to receive the care she can get there which is not available in the US. We hope to reach a minimum of $5000 to cover the flight for Linda, Dennis and her service dog, plus at least some of the living costs while they are there. Any amount over that will help to cover medical costs, the return trip home, and the remaining lost income.
