Support Jesse Silva's Battle Against A Brain Tumor
Donation protected
It all started with our sweet Lil Jesse experiencing headaches. While at his routine eye wellness exam, his doctor discovered he wasn't able to read some of the letters on the chart. Further tests revealed severe vision and color loss. CT Scan and MRI revealed a very large tumor in the optic nerve pathway.
Jesse's neurosurgeon at Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH) will remove as much of the brain tumor as possible and place a port for an 18-month course of chemotherapy. It has yet to be determined if other treatment modalities will be required.
During his visit with the neurosurgeon on February 24, 2021, Jesse and his parents will discuss the surgical procedures, post-surgical care and follow-up treatments.
Jesse's mother, Alexis, has been the Office Manager at Dental Design of Arcadia for many years. Alexis, herself, suffers from an auto-immune disorder called Lupus as well as other medical complications. She manages to show up for work everyday, smiling through her pain, and raising her three children with her husband, Jesse Sr.
During this time of recovery and treatment, her and her husband will be forced to take substantial amounts of time away from work. Their road ahead is filled with much uncertainty and financial hardship. These funds will go toward Jesse's medical care and support the family's needs.
