Support Lauri's Healing Journey to NYC

As many of you know, Lauri has experienced various health-related issues over the past 12 years. Yet through all this, she and Pete have been there for us, giving time, effort, and love to the needs and passions of so many in our community. Lauri has been given a hope-filled and promising opportunity as part of her healing journey. This procedure will give her a new lease on life. As wonderful as this is, we want to make the process safe and seamless for her. While the medical side will be covered by insurance, the logistics are costly. We must safely and carefully get Lauri to Manhattan with someone to escort her to the procedure. The trickiest part is getting her home without delay in a mode that will allow her to move freely. Anyone who lives in the northeast knows proximity to New York City doesn't equal affordable access. Our goal is to raise funds for her and those assisting her to travel easily in and out of the city and possibly stay for a day to recover. Lifting this burden will give Lauri and Pete emotional room to deal with the eventualities and not add undue stress.
