Supporting Lauren through the flood

Hi all,

I have set up this go fund me for our dear friend Lauren.

Lauren left her house yesterday morning for work and like most, without warning of what was to come. With the rapidly unfolding natural disaster happening in the Northern Rivers, she could not get back to her house due to the rising water.

By the grace of the universe, she is safe and well- however has since been notified that that her house was completely under water and her belongings unsalvageable/ washed away to neighbouring properties.

Yesterday, she left with nothing but the clothes on her back and today is facing the sad reality that she has lost all her belongings and will be rebuilding her life and the home she moved into just 2 months ago.

Lauren has always been the first to give to the community, always offering support and assistance to anyone in need.

Every cent would be beyond appreciated and used towards basic essential items and the massive clean up and rebuild that is to come when she is able to return home.

Our thoughts are with all the families in our community who are also facing devastating loss and we can only hope everything subsidies over the next few days.

We are all so grateful to be safe during this time and appreciate everyone for reaching out and checking in.
