Support Laura's Mom in Her Battle with Breast Cancer

Hello everyone!

My name is Laura, and although I never imagined I would have to ask for help in this way, today I feel the need to do so. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and the news left us devastated. It was such an unexpected blow that we are honestly still trying to come to terms with it. But here we are, fighting together for her health, because I don't want her to give up.

The doctors have confirmed that surgery to remove her breast is the only option to remove the cancerous masses they found. Unfortunately we have not been able to assimilate the situation calmly due to the financial obligations that we have received and that are overtaking us because there are only 2 of us, my mom and me. My mom is a single mother who has always worked tirelessly to provide for me and my future. She currently has a single monthly income that does not exceed $1,400 and cannot cover all the expenses that have been generated. She has not yet had the surgery and we have already received bills of approximately $900 for tests and medical appointments. It is worth mentioning that after the surgery, she must take 2 months of disability and therefore she will be absent from work without receiving such income.

Due to these difficult circumstances, I made the decision to create this account, because unfortunately as much as I would like to deal with this situation on my own, I need your help.
