Support LaShay's Recovery and Her Children

Hi, my name is Tanzania and I am fundraising to help my little sister LaShay while she deals with a medical emergency. This past Saturday my sister was heading home with her 4 children, returning from a cross country trip. As they got to Texas, my sister fell ill, passing out after having a bad asthma attack. She had to be intubated due to not being able to breathe on her own. Since being in the hospital she has been transferred to 3 different Texas hospitals and remains now in ICU. She woke up slightly yesterday and panicked worried for her children. She then had a stroke which affected her right side. Thankfully, our younger sister was able to get to Texas yesterday and bring her children home to me here in San Diego due to me being 37 weeks pregnant.

my sister and her children are my entire world. I have my niece and nephews with me, and will keep them until she is fully recovered which could be a long while. As you can imagine this has been a very hard, and traumatic experience for them. They are worried and scared for their mommy. My sister will need physical therapy, speech therapy amongst other things and the hospital staff are telling us to prepare for her to be there for at least the next few weeks, if not longer. They are still monitoring her breathing and trying to find out where the blood clots are coming from. We hope that once they say she is stable enough she can be transferred to a San Diego hospital to continue her treatment.

due to her medical condition, she is stuck in Texas, of course unable to work, and provide for her household and babies. I would love to raise money to help with things like her rent, bills, and to help the kids.

this has been very painful for myself, her kids and our family and we appreciate any help, or prayers.
