Support Koko and Kaia's Outdoor Adventures - Tandem Hikers

Hello!!! My name is Pam Bruss and I am working with my two girls, Emily and Anna, as well as our friend Susan Moss, to raise funds to help our best friends, Hillary and her beautiful twin daughters Koko and Kaia. We want to gift them an amazing opportunity to 'hike' with us throughout New England. We are located in Bradford, NH where we love to hike the woods, fields and trails. Koko and Kaia come to spend lots of time on the farm and we want to expand their horizons into the woods and mountains around NH and MA.

Koko and Kaia are 12 years old (this GoFundMe is their birthday present!), and have a rare disease called SMA. Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a genetic disease affecting the central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, and voluntary muscle movement (skeletal muscle).

What does this really mean? It means that over time they have lost muscle tone and mass. They can use their electric scoots to navigate a building or sidewalk, but uneven terrain is not accessible. BUT they love opportunities to be outdoors and explore nature. It would be a dream come true to hike and get outdoors with their friends, Emily and Anna, and see the world in a way that most of us take granted. And now there is a NEW way with a sturdy tandem hiker that can navigate the rocks and roots of our New Hampshire trails, which means it can go most anywhere!
