Our good friend George had a stroke, we are all numb, shocked, upset and worried. I want to help, I know I am not alone in this feeling. We all know that George is the mayor of our little community. Not a day goes by that he is not fixing or supporting some project or coming to the rescue of someone in need. He is usually the center of any gathering and is the first to organize, lead, support, build, laugh, raise a glass, welcome a stranger, clean up, hug and show concern for all of us.
He has celebrated with many of us on important occasions, and I celebrate and cherish his friendship, I know I am not alone.
George & Deb are currently fighting to get some sense of normalcy back into their life. We can all help with his recovery in many ways.
I don't have to tell you how fragile we all are, at any moment, anyone of us can be struck down. As we all rally and show our concern, once the shock wears off the reality of moving ones life forward again can be overwhelming, tedious and a struggle to regain what was lost.
Please support George and Deb in anyway you can in this recovery process, we all wish him a speedy recovery.
