Support Kids in Tanzania and Provide School Essentials

My name is Bella Jepsen and on the 13th May I am going to Arusha, Tanzania to Volunteer in the Childcare System for three weeks. When my mum was my age, she volunteered in Africa for a year and since then, I have been inspired to follow in her footsteps. I will be working in centres which lack adequate funds and resources which are required to help young children learn and grow.

The aim of this GoFund me is to take a full suitcase over to Tanzania with resources for the school and children. I will continue the GoFund me once I am there and ensure 100% of the funds go towards helping these beautiful children.

Most of the kids I will be working with come from really poor backgrounds. With no financial assistance from the Tanzanian government, these centres heavily rely on external support, such as ours, to sustain their operations. In many cases, the meals provided at these centres serve as the only sustenance these children receive throughout the day.

The childcare program aims to bridge the gap created by underfunding and lack of resources in these centres. As a volunteer, my responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks, including but not limited to:

The age range of the children I'll be working with spans from babies to six-year-olds. Your contributions will facilitate significant improvements by supplying essential school materials like notebooks, pencils, play equipment, as well as funding for infrastructural enhancements and sustenance.

Any contribution, big or small will make a profound impact on the lives of these children. Together, we can utilise our wealth of knowledge and education and as a result, pass this onto kids in Tanzania to help them grow academically.
