In December 2022, Kerry received the devastating diagnosis of Stage 3 cancer, which has now progressed to Stage 4. Despite enduring rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, and now immunotherapy, the cancer has metastasized to her lungs, chest, spine, kidneys, and liver.

Kerry has always been the epitome of strength and resilience, but her treatment options in Canada have been exhausted. We've been advised by her medical team that her best chance of fighting this aggressive disease lies in seeking specialized treatment in the United States. Upon receiving this news, Kerry and her husband Lyle drove to Phoenix to begin treatment as soon as possible.

However, the financial burden of Kerry's medical bills in the U.S. is overwhelming. Kerry had to stop working shortly after her diagnosis, and the loss of her income has added to the strain on her and her husband Lyle. As friends who have witnessed Kerry's unwavering kindness and generosity, it's heartbreaking to see her battling for her life while worrying about how to afford the care she desperately needs.
