Katlins Journey with Exxpedition

My name is Katlin Tilly and I have been selected to be a part of the Exxpedition round the world trip. I have been chosen to be on the seventh leg which is traveling from The Galapagos to Easter Island in February 2020. The goal of this trip is to raise awareness of plastic pollution within our oceans and also to celebrate women in science. For more information on the trip visit the website.
I need to build a team of people who will be a part of my journey. In order for me to be able to do this trip, each crew member is required to contribute the funds that are enabling the expedition to be possible. I am asking for organizations and individuals who share the same passions as I do to get behind me and become part of my team. We all have different ways to contribute and while I am promising to dedicate my time and energy into the Exxpedition I would love for other people to get the chance to be a part of this journey through other ways.
I believe that it is possible for this trip to make a real difference, but for this to be true it is going to take a community of people. My team can be confident that I will do everything I can to not only raise awareness of plastic pollution but be committed to finding solutions so that we can make the world more sustainable.
I would like to work closely with any sponsors to ensure they the partnership is mututally beneficial. Whether that be through wearing their apparel, discussing their organisation on social media or attending an event prior to or after the trip has occurred. Each organisation that sponsors me will also have access to an Exxpedition crew sponsor logo to promote the partnership and their logo will be displayed as a sponsor on the Exxpedition website under my profile. I am open to any partnership offers and would love the chance to disucss the details with anyone interested. I will always ensure that any organisations that support me will be acknowledged and promoted in the best light possible.
