Support Joseph fund his dance education in Amsterdam

My name is Joseph Julius Kasozi Hapi, I am a 23-year-old emerging artist, living in Uganda. Since 10+ years I‘ve been Djing and dancing Breaking, Krump and Contemporary. I taught all skills myself and I love to spread my knowledge by teaching and organizing dance events for my community.

My passion for movement and expression has led me to pursue a career in choreography and I am thrilled to share that I have been accepted into the SNDO – School for New Dance Development, BA in Choreography program at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (AHK). That is a one in a million chance for me and I‘m so happy to be able to pursue a carrier I always dreamed about.

The realization of how hard it is for someone like me to even come to Amsterdam is brutal. The amount of money it needs to be a student in Europe is scary and unrealistic for me without this GoFundMe.

With a humble heart I’m seeking for support to help me make this dream come true.

I am raising funds to cover flight and visa expenses, insurance, accommodation, and meals during the first few months of my stay in Amsterdam as I settle in and search for a job to help support myself. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a difference!
