Support Joanne's Fight Against Lung Cancer

As many of you know, Joanne has recently been faced with life changing news. Joanne is battling a very rare and aggressive form of stage 4 Lung Cancer. As the cancer has quickly spread to her liver, bones, and brain, required treatment was started immediately. The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to raise money that will assist with Joanne’s current and future medical bills. She has a long road ahead filled with doctor’s appointments, tests, and medication. Medical debt should not be a worry of hers as she continues to fight this awful disease. Instead, she should be spending time with her family and friends, and most importantly her son Rocco.

For those of you who do not know much about Joanne, she is truly one of a kind! Just to note a few amazing things about her- she is a nurse and Joanne absolutely loves her patients and has built so many fond relationships with those she cares for.

In addition to being the best nurse to her patients she spoils their pets with food, treats and affection. Joanne is an animal lover and has spent much of her life rescuing different types of animals and finding them a safe and loving home.

Family is the most important thing to Joanne. She is the matriarch of her large Italian family. Her Italian roots show when she is cooking, feeding ,and entertaining at her home, where all are welcome. In addition to making those around her laugh, you will always find Joanne with a smile on her face, and Mariah Carey blasting in her kitchen.
