Support Jill after surviving a brain aneurysm.

We are saddened to share that my wife, Jill, suffered a massive brain aneurysm rupture on Friday, January 26th. Fortunately, Jill was already in the emergency room when the rupture occurred and she received life-saving medical care very quickly. Jill was life flighted to a larger hospital that is able to provide the level of care she needs. She immediately went into surgery where doctors performed brain surgery and successfully stopped her brain bleeds and she remains in a coma in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) at the hospital. At this moment, we know that Jill will remain in the hospital for 3 weeks to continue to be closely monitored through her recovery. If you know Jill, you know she is strong and she is a fighter who loves her family very much. Jill will have a lot of obstacles to overcome and we know it will be a long road to recovery, but we are confident we will be able to bring Jill back home to her family in the future.

This GoFund Me campaign was started to provide a way for family and friends to help Jill secure the highest level of care. In addition to what insurance can cover, there will be significant outside costs related to maintaining Jill's level of care, possible long-term costs related to rehabilitation, speech and occupational therapies and any modifications and alternative therapies that may be needed once the extent of Jill's brain injury is realized. With the temporary loss of Jill's income, these funds will help the family not only cover medical expenses but also to cover transportation to and from the hospital that is 90 minutes from their home, food costs, and other monthly living expenses to assure Konner and Lyla are able to maintain a level of normalcy while their Mom is healing.
